[Start ID. A digital drawing of Gabriel and V1 from Ultrakill in super-saturated, pixellated colors. It seemingly takes place during phase two of his second fight, judging by Gabe's bright yellow-cyan wings and the consequent blush shining through his helmet. additionally once again: special thanks to @magnumopos and @muzzleroars , neither of which I have actually spoken to in my life but both of which are credited with partially inspiring this! (dedicated section under the readmore due to the fact I do not generally tag people at all ever and wasn't sure if I should, but thought it was worth mentioning!) The former for giving me the wonderful idea of dragonfly V1, the latter for drawing V1 like a strange little creature + for the feedbacker plate, I enjoy both your works :]

so. this is officially at 600 notes. meaning it just beat out my most popular post by four and i have so much to say about it (very /pos) i'll just ignore categorization tags entirely for this srb to say. man. ok. i came up with the idea for this a month before I started on it i called it a “successor” to the nov29 gabe piece and i don't think any word will better fit it. all to say that i had big plans for this! i wanted to bring out all that the original did + expand upon it. wanted a chance to be self-indulgent with bright colors and gay violence and insect features and as ornate detail and lining as i could coherently give it. one of my major goals here was just to have fun!!! (sidenote in my plans i wrote that for some reason instead of searching for the ecstasy drawing on my OWN BLOG i just tumblr searched for “gabriel ultrakill”. and as i said on that day i am Not complaining cause i saw so much wonderful art. everyone here has such a cool style) anyway despite all this i was worried at the end. after all the time i'd spent on it; I worried it wasn't how I wanted it to turn out or that people wouldn't like it as much as i hoped they would. and boy could i not be more wrong i've had old and new followers like it. from mutuals to users i've never heard of. people i've seen around and people i really admire!! there've been numerous people in the notes i've never talked to whose characters i've had bookmarked as my highest priority in artfight!!! and there have been just so many nice comments. so many faves and woahs and so much yelling about cool colors and cool bugs. i so desperately wish i could respond to every single one of them. the uk community here is all so so kind and i love you all!!!! truly!!!! i just want to sum this up by saying i've never had my most popular post be something i cared about so much? y'know? thank you to everyone.
