i grew up in michigan nearly half the year was snow its hard for me to imagine how someone could have never seen snow even though logically i know its completely possible like i definitely know there are a lot of people who have never seen snow and that people have lived and died never seeing it its just such an integral part of my past that its not easy for me personally to imagine snow is amazing to me how it just blankets the landscape and creates a quiet thats almost eerie and it glitters in sunlight and i love the crunch of walking on freshly fallen snow we actually got a proper snow around the middle of november this year which is very unusual for where i live i went outside well after sundown while the snow was still falling and just enjoyed the quiet and stillness usually i can hear some traffic from the front porch but i couldnt that night because of the snow it was the first time in a long time ive been able to experience that since we dont get much snow here i could have stayed out there for hours
