But I do have a question, I was scrolling through lmk art of urs and I saw the boxer AU with Mac. The one when he gets injured, I feel bad. Does he eventually get better on his leg?🥺

About that random-ass boxing AU i spend a solid 15 seconds on though- i honestly don't remember much of it but i believe i wrote a long paragraph of all the different ideas i had for Mac. I think the idea you refer to, made it so that Mac's injury was fatal - not that he's at risk of dying but he would never be able to box/kickbox again. I still wanted that angsty dynamic between Wukong and Mac so yeah, Wukong fucked him over in order to win the title at the time - it did cost Wukong a lot as well since he cheated but at least he was still able to fight after his penalty (if i remember correctly?). Regardless, however, his "loss" is nothing in comparison to Mac's, hence the strained relationship between em'. I had imagined for the incident to be in the past (just like their canon drama) and for their relationship to still be rocky even years later since, you know, they're prideful a-holes and we love messy monke divorce.

Just another wound that never truly healed.
