In many media, rabbit thumping is represented in the same way. The rabbit hits the ground consecutively with a single paw.

Which is not the case.

The thump doesn't look like that, the rabbit will mostly use its two legs to hit the ground a couple of times. Rather than a tap, it is more similar to a small hop.
