too many cod brainrot ideas. i will let anyone write this if it inspires them just give me credit for the idea please :)

what if ghost never met soap properly. like, he only knew soap as a marine who got shot in one of the 141's missions. like, soap is so forgettable, because they never interacted before, that he totally forgets who soap is, his name everything. when soap dies, he supports price, but him and gaz never really knew soap, so they just kinda forget about the guy after a while. unbeknownst to him, Simon's family and soap protect ghost from any outside harm while hes alive. ghost, ofc, cant see them but reeeaaallly weird things continuously happen.

(ex. he gets shot, and the bullet, although high powered, stops right before the femoral artery, when it should have went right through, and possibly shattered the bone. he would have bled out in less than 12 minutes, but somehow he's still alive. or, like that one time him, price and gaz were in a car {price driving, gas being in the passenger and ghost being in the back} on the way to a pub for a little drink and some food, when they get hit by a drunk driver. the driver hit on Simon's side, and he was going fast enough that the car warped and by all accounts SIMON SHOULD BE DEAD.... but he isnt.)

its miraculous, and the 141 slowly start wondering how ghosts luck went from shit, to all of a sudden really good? the 141 start trying to experiment with ghost gadgets, and they discover Simon's family and this marine hes NEVER HEARD OF is protecting him.
