Are you going to make anymore Self aware swap AU content?

I’m not exactly sure.

Originally, the SAS au was supposed to be a direct parallel to Welcome Home, a what if scenario where the puppets are the ones that were self aware of their existence instead of Wally.

But ever since the new updates came out, i realized that the Welcome Home story wasn’t so black and white. Wally might be the most obvious when it comes to “characters that definitely know what’s up”, but other characters like Eddie, Home, and even Frank also have been theorized to have a level of awareness about their situation.

Plus, the au was a bit too “edgy” and not in a good way. I do love horror, but there’s a line between what’s a good story with very dark and horrific ideas, and just plain edginess without any substance. I did have a story that went along with it, but as I mentioned earlier, the au was supposed to be as close to canon as possible, so it just kinda fell apart once the updates released.

And the au’s characters were also very OOC. But then again, I did make this au before the first major update of Welcome Home 😭

I don’t think I’ll continue it, honestly whenever I think of the au I just cringe a bit 😭😭

But that’s not to say that I regret making the au, it was my first major post on tumblr and I met some wonderful people!! Plus it did help me draw the characters a bit more accurately too!!
