hot take but i don’t think the movie thing was really out of place at all. like yes i wish thua got more consequences for literally outing akk, but the fact is this is the excuse wat gave so that akk could come out on his own terms. them making the movie is just that, they’re doing it to erase the way thua outed him and have akk announce it in his own way. akk LITERALLY says “if i do this, i’ll be telling people [i’m gay]” before namo cuts him off, and then MAKES THE CHOICE to do it.
