I used to hate poetry before Dead Poets Society, it made me feel ways I wasn’t sure I wanted to feel just yet.

Now I read poetry like I need to breathe.

Whether it’s things I relate to or not, sad, happy, sexual, friendly, about death, or a life starting. Homosexuality, religion, or just waking up in the middle of the night after a bad dream.

Dead Poets Society changed my life and my view on lots of things, poetry being one.

i relate to this post in a soul level this EXACTLY what happened to me i had won a poetry contest before watching it but i didn't fully grasped what it meant until i saw todd making that impromptu poem it changed my brain chemistry dead poets society dps todd anderson
