so obviously my username came from the word "venus" and the word "logy", so it means "study of venus." there are a few reasons why i chose venus:

first, it slowly became my favorite planet throughout the years (saturn is a close second) and i love how its depicted in mythology. venus is the roman goddess of love, fertility, desire and many more--as well as being the roman counterpart for the greek goddess aphrodite. from a very young age i have loved love with all my heart so i just thought it'd be fitting for me to use it.

second, venus has long been an object in the sky that became the fascination of many cultures, christianity being one of them. in this context, venus is closely associated with lucifer, a fallen angel, and i absolutely adore the way lucifer means "light-bringer" and how in venus is known as the morning and evening star. (can you tell how much of an astrology nerd i was?)

third, that one mitski lyric about how venus planet of love was destroyed by global warming. idk it just resonated with me deeply so yeah. these are the reasons why i vxnuslogy is my username (THIS GOT LONGER THAN I EXPECTED LMAOO PARDON MY YAPPING.)
