he was never close with people due to his upbringing and with how sick he was

you were persistent

he was content with being alone but you wanted to befriend him

it took a lot of work on your part but slowly, you started to see kokichi open up to you

he would start smiling more and even anticipated when you would spend time with him

luckily that didn’t last long because one day you found him waiting at your doorstep

you smiled sadly at him and he apologized profusely for his response and delayed apology

he rambled for quite some time

so you kissed him to shut him up
