when people think of comfort, they think of you. you're a warm home to return to, a hot beverage in the storm, the cracking of the fire as the night advances, the smile of a stranger and the hands of a lover wrapping a blanket around cold shoulders. maybe you think your softness makes you boring, but you are longed for. if only you know how loved you are just for being. if only you could feel it.
