Her funky speech always gives me a headache
"No!" Don Quixote, who had been quietly reading her favorite serialized comic, suddenly exclaims, "This canst not be! the apprentice... Is 'i dire peril!"
Her girlfriend raises her head from the other volume of the same comic she was reading, and blinks at Don Quixote.
"Ah, so you read the newest one already..."
"No, no, no!" Don Quixote dramatically falls to her knees, "He can't... He canst not die! Not again!"
Her lover gives her a look of pity. They are both very interested in the niche comic That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Color Fixer Apprentice, but Don Quixote is always the one to be the louder about it.
"Would he dies, then how shall he become a color fixer?! Nay, this canst not be!"
It's true, the volume Don Quixote sat down to read has quite the nerve wracking cliffhanger but...
"If you read a few pages more, maybe there is a chance..." She tries to encourage Don Quixote without giving any spoilers.
Don Quixote looks up at her with teary, hopeful eyes and then gets up on her feet and quickly retrieves the comic from where she left it. She reads the next pages quickly, and gasps with a hand on her chest.
"Tis a most anxiety-inducing cliffhanger but-! The apprentice-! Could he-?!"
Her partner watches her quietly from her seat. Various emotions cross her face, but ultimately she looks down at her lover with pure adoration in her eyes. Her partner blushes, already knowing what would come next.
Don Quixote quickly scoops her up in her arms and holds her tight, kissing her face while rapid-firing thousands of declarations of love.
"Oh, fair maiden! Whatever would I doth without thou?!"
Her lover had already seen it coming, but she still blushes furiously, heart beating faster than a warp train.
"I love you too, Don..." She tries to mutter.
It's a mystery whether Don Quixote heard it or not.
