I feel like I've been saying this for years already but god it is so wild seeing the revisionist history surrounding Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Like I get it, it was a whole decade ago, but you can't just throw around bold claims that it was a flop or a failure and expect no one who was actually there to see it.
It was BioWare's most successful game launch of all time, recieved acclaim from critics, did well enough to get a year of post-release expansions, and was the first ever 'Game of the Year' winner at The Game Awards - you know, the exact same award you were all so excited Baldur's Gate 3 won???
I understand there'll always be people still mourning the loss of Origins' style 15 years later but come on.

i was young ten years ago and didn't have the means to play anything heavier than in-browser platformers and I STILL KNEW ABOUT dai
i saw Dorian fan art and thought “wow that guy looks cool”
and i wasn't anywhere near gaming communities but i knew that that guy is from a game and a LOT of people liked it
i think if the game reached so far that even uninterested in the gaming industry teen knew about it in a positive light... it was a success
