I Wasnt Even Doing Any Speculation Stuff Yet - Tumblr Posts

^^ prev tags text post reblogs I had multiple people tell me I’m insane for like just describing the surface level story of a game I wasn’t even doing any speculation stuff yet I gave like a basic plot synopsis for Simon’s Quest once and someone immediately was like games weren’t made like that back then it’s not that deep like bro what that’s the plot it’s in the manual that comes with the game easy google search and it’s worse trying to make a theory or analysis post especially on Reddit don’t go on Reddit 💀 but yeah I’ve noticed a lot of Castlevania fans have like this weird idea that no games before SotN had a cohesive story? I’ve seen people tell new fans to either skip the classicvanias entirely or to play fan games over the originals someone pulled the you’re delusional card on me on Pinterest once I’ve seen people get downvoted or start arguments just because they said something like idk I took insert scene a little bit more like this here’s some of my evidence and reasoning as to why and like WHY what’s wrong with interpreting a story??? and don’t even get me started on the constant Simon is too boring to have anything made about him posts where everyone in the comments either agrees or gets dogpiled immediately i just don’t get it
