Science Teacher Logan is fun but please, please, please consider:

English Teacher Logan.

Loves dissecting poetry and will go on long passionate rants about how modern rap should be taken just as seriously

Will correct your grammar in an argument, like he WILL interrupt you to do so. This man has broken up student fights to correct their insults.

Once thats done though, Logan WILL just let the fight play out. He’s not about to get involved in student business.

Claims he can tell when you’re using the wrong ‘you’re/your’ …. verbally

Will 100% go on tangents and sometimes just end up reading books to his class; he’s surprisingly immersive

Absolutely lets his students write essays that portray the source material (i.e. the book, the poem, etc) in a negative light as long as it’s well written …… bonus credit if it’s entertaining

His students know he can rap because Patton told them about it once during their class with him (Patton probably teaches home economics or woodwork, maybe both), and now they spend as often as possible trying to get him to do so

Patton’s also the only teacher Logan’s class have seen actively correct him and survive. “Infinitesimal” is a meme around the school even now.

The day his students finally hear Logan rap is during a talent show where he’s challenged by P.E. / Gym teacher Roman to a ‘lyrical duel’ and absolutely annihilates him with zero hesitation

Whenever a student in Virgil’s music class needs help with lyrics for a personal project, he sends them straight to Logan

Logan and the history teacher, Janus, aren’t allowed within five feet of each other due to the Debate Club Incident

He also loves to ‘’fact check’’ Janus whenever he has a free period; aka, we will sit in the back of Janus’ classes and try to correct him. 90% of the time, he’s doing it purely out of spite and or to see Janus get frustrated

Subsequently, Logan and the eccentric art teacher, Remus, are banned from organising any more halloween parties. Several students still shudder in fear from last year’s decorations…

Rumours go around the school that Virgil and Logan were in a band in college. Both denied the rumour for years until Roman produced a copy of their first album. He promises only to play it for them if at least half the class bring their grades up.

It works scarily well.

Logan finds out about this only when Patton comes by to chat and is humming the title song of the album; Anxious Thinking

“Roman was playing the whole thing in the gym! Doesn’t it just bring back memories-?“

Logan’s students get to see him get into a fistfight with Roman that same lunchtime.
