H.A.L blinked a few times, switching from his blog to paying attention to what was going on around him when he heard the door. Of course he was still being careful, he checked the few cameras he had around the place and even once getting to the door, checked again that it was who he said he was, having had him send a picture via messaging systems all to make sure it was actually him who came in.

H.A.L knew it was paranoid and kind of dumb to still be so on edge when everything said that the one he was this paranoid over was gone and had been gone, not having made it through things but some part of him still held onto it.

He hardly realized that he had even let Broderick in until he was talked to- the other asking where he wanted to be worked on. "Oh. Right. The work bench is in the other room, we can do the fix's there." the work bench had two chairs near it and all the tools he had been using to keep himself fixed until now, but hey joints were not that easy to fix one handed.

He hardly payed much attention to the work the other was even doing, having shut off his own nerves so he didnt feel a thing, he allowed the other to work, only getting up to leave once the food for him had come.

He sighed, watching over Broderick working between eating. It had been a while since anyone but himself had worked on him, the last one to have done so was R when he lead her through making his body for him but he didnt mind this, it was nice having someone around and Broderick was careful with what he was doing, moving as if not to hurt him even if there wasnt a possibility to since his nerves had been turned off, the way he still was careful was comforting, it reminded him alot of R in ways.

He didnt mind this as much as he worried he would. Maybe it was time to give trusting people a chance again.
