"Landon, please calm down," Josh exhaled a sigh. Landon's reaction was expected, of course. Anyone would be furious to hear their significant other could be cheating on them. But this? This was seriously unbelievable. Josh didn't want to believe it, but he couldn't deny what could be true.
He held his hands up for a moment, "I know - this is bad, it can't be true. But... You and I both know Simon wouldn't lie about this. And he wouldn't have said anything if he didn't think there was some truth to it."
Josh believed him, or he at least believed what Simon thought he saw. Could it be a misunderstanding? Sure it could. But could it also be true? Definitely. Maybe it was better Landon hear it this way than see it for himself.
"...If you don't believe it, then why don't you find out for yourself?" Josh offered some sort of option, hoping it could help somehow, "You're capable of that, I know you are. Or - I mean - you could just talk to her. If it's nothing, then you can both clear it up before doing anything drastic."

Josh, you like to stand for what you believe in but have you ever changed your view on something after more information came out?
Josh nods slowly, processing the question carefully, "That's a fair question. I'm not someone who can't be swayed at all. There are times when a good argument made me see things in a different light. But, when it comes to what I believe in, it would have to be something truly life changing. I go all in for what I believe, learning every little thing I can to best support it. If something new came out? Well, as long as there's evidence, I'm always open to a good argument."
