Idk What Side Of Tumblr Im Calling Out Too - Tumblr Posts
Okay Tumblr I'm counting on you. This is my biggest blog so buckle up.
I was having a dream where it was basically a DND campaign and everyone was tiny and everything around us looked like it came from an eccentric grandma's attic. There was this weird sorcerer that breathed life into a pendant and a shadowy knight kinda seeped out of the detail of the pendant. Below is the closest image I could find of the pendant but the sword was removable.

The sorcerer said to the person who brought him the pendant "I've given him enough of a name to come when called, and enough life to know who his father is" the word father was kinda meant to be master. The guy with the pendant was the bad guy, using The Knight as a henchmen. The bad guy wore the pendant sans sword like it was weightless despite it being huge because everyone is tiny. The Sorcerer was kinda a neutral party i guess??.
The Knight was always silent, his name never really spoken because he didn't stray very far from The Bad Guy. He always felt like he didn't want to fight, he just wasn't very interested like he was just doing as he was told. He kind of felt blank. At some point someone in my party caught his sword and realized "wait it's not even sharp?" Because it was a piece of a friggin necklace.
We convinced him to steal his pendant back from The Bad Guy and we had to drag it around because it was heavy to us. We find The Sorcerer and ask him to bind her to the pendant so The Knight can stay with us easier. He says the same thing "I've given him enough of a name to come when called, and enough of a life to know his father" the pendant glows for a second and it's suddenly no longer super heavy to that party member. She really leans into the 'Father' title and tries to get The Knight to speak or give any indication that he's happier now but he just can't. The Knight isn't his own person and doesn't have the capacity for complex thoughts and reason. Hes just sorta there because he's been summoned. We learn that if we put the sword back in the pendant then he goes back in as well.
Does this remind ANYONE of ANY kind of a fictional fantasy guy or maybe there's something similar in a movie or book? My brain can't have just made this up
I WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT HIM
