I saw some creators I know joining the event (not really moots though) and I'm not telling you what to do, but if you can, try to avoid joining those kind of events. Even if the company isn't profiting off your posts directly, it does encourage the wrong message that its fine to make posts about it like there isn't a boycott happening. Also, those posts could indirectly cause people to go buy from them if they see people are basically promoting the brand (by default you're advertising them for free when you make any kind of brand moodboard). If you don't support them, great, but why would you make an event for it then? There are a lot of events to join, it wouldn't hurt you to skip one if you were wanting to participate in one! <3

This isn't necessarily to send hate to anyone who joined or made the event, just thought I'd exercise my freedom of speech laws since it's important to speak out to educate others

Have y'all seen that sb event that just started on here😐 like obviously sb is not nearly the most important thing to boycott but the creator still shouldn't have done it imo bc it just disregards Palestinian ppl who ask us to boycott it. And also it's weird that idols who drank sb got death threats for it and now we're doing mbs with them ? so it's just very unsettling :/
