Il Siracusano - Tumblr Posts
Il Siracusano’s gameplay really disappointed me. The story was fantastic, but Blood Debt just felt like a thing that was there. You can’t really mitigate it except by protecting civilians, and you can’t really play around it. It’s like an annoying version of Imprisonment from Mansfield.
I think one thing that would really have fixed things would have been giving it an interaction with Silence and Stun. Like, make it go harder in general, but if you’ve stunned an enemy they don’t increase Blood Debt when they die, and make all the moves that increase able to be silenced. Not only would that be more interesting to play with, but it’d also be thematic. Texas’ signature moves inflict stun, and Lappland is the queen of silence; they’re the ones who know how to deal with the mafiosi.
Aren’t the Famiglia Cleaners Archosaurs?
Not sure if this has been brought up before, but do you think being a doctor in the AK universe is, like, a bajillion times harder than it's be in Real Life?
There's already different races that'll have its own nuances to consider, but even between races there can be huge differences (most prominent in the Archosaurian sexual dimorphism) that it sounds like a nightmare to have to learn.
The large phenotypic differences between Terran races would complicate medicine, but probably not as much as you might think.
They are all the same species, that is to say the races can interbreed. This means on a fundamental level they are all the same basic creature, just with more variation than we see in earth humans (which is not saying much, we have relatively low genetic diversity compared to most species).
Like sure, certain Aegir and Sarkaz have very weird biological situations going on, but liver problems are liver problems, you know?
Also, I am still of the opinion anthropomorphism isn't sexual dimorphism but an x-linked recessive trait (and, realistically, a general lack of distinct artworks for archosaurian people).
I love that people originally thought the zoomorphic/humanoid split was a sexual dichotomy, and Hypergryph's response has been to introduce counter-examples who make us wish that was the case.
You know I love my friend Gavial very much but if RA2 has taught me something is that there is someone else in Sargon who, just going by sheer might, could be more of a Great Chief that Gavial could:

She is SO strong.
