I’d say Reader would probably be Poppy or Kissy, maybe even Dogday. Someone who would help the Player (but it would be interesting if Reader was someone like Mommy or Huggy). It would definitely be horrifying to watch the Hour of Joy though. Someone give Reader a hug.
