in the tags of/in my [yandere!]romeo x taiga writing a few days ago i referenced/mention an exchange/dialogue between taiga and romeo that i referenced and never posted. after we learned that romeo's stigma makes bigger explosions based on how attached he is to the thing being blown up i just. got this in my head.
"Taiga. If I blew you up right now, how big do you think the explosion would be?"
"Huh? Uuuh. I bet it'd be huge! Big enough to totally level the room!"
"Really? You think that?"
"Gyahaha! Am I that wrong?"
". . .if I blew you up right now. . .I think neither of us would survive. No one in the casino, either, or on the ship. . .the desert would become a big plane of glass, and Darkwick would be reduced to rubble from the blast. This place would be gone. Tokyo Rainbow Bridge would shake and crack and crumble and the cars on it would fall into the tsunami forming from the shockwave below--a tsunami big enough to destroy a hundred kilometers inland. That's how big it'd be."
Taiga's silence unsettled Romeo. Perhaps Taiga hadn't understood him. He cleared his throat. "What I mean is--"
"I love you, too, Lulu."
Oh. He did understand. Romeo's expression softened until he glanced over at Taiga, gazing at him with wide eyes.
"But is that all?"
"What!? Is that not enough for you!?"
"Nah." Taiga grinned, tilting his head to look down his nose at him. "I need you to love me more, Lulu. I need the explosion to take out a chunk of Japan. Then the whole thing, then. . .the whole world. I want you to be so attached to me that if you ever get so mad at me that you blow me up completely, the blast will be so big that the whole world explodes and no one has to suffer a future without you. And then the bits of the world'll all go flying through space and in a hundred billion years when the world reforms you and me will meet all over again. So I can love you a second time.
"So! Gotta work real hard so Lulu can love me the most of anyone ever! Gyahahahahahahahaha!!!"
