I know this is very dumb and stupid, but I've got an evil Sunbeam Au. Wait! Listen please!
I think she would have the potential to become evil. Mostly her weird Mapleshade-like possessiveness of Nightheart. I want to expand on this possessivenes.
Because of her possessiveness she starts to cut Nightheart off from his family and friends, she's scared that he might leave her. Just like how Blazefire and Lightleap left her. First she asks Squrrielflight / Ivypool to go on more patrols with Nightheart, which isn't a red flag at first. But as it goes on she gets more and more overprotective of Nightheart, not wanting him to talk to other she-cats (bc of her fear that he'll leave him for another she-cat), talking over him, moving his nest away from his family's nests, etc. She really hates the idea of anyone leaving her again, she's scared of that happening.
When Nightheart leaves again she's furious, like genuinely angry, because it seems like he's abandoning her. When Nightheart comes back she yells at him, "Why did you leave?" She doesn't even let Nightheart answer before she answers her own question "You don't love me anymore do you? Is that why you left? To get away from me?" Obviously Nightheart is super apologetic about it, denying her worries. But those worries bubble up and bubble up. She hates that Nightheart is friends with Frostpaw. She hates it and sees it like Nightheart is going to leave her for Frostpaw. Like what Blazefire did.
"You can't be friends with Frostpaw anymore" she tells him, her claws unsheathed. Sunbeam's head is filled with thoughts of Nightheart running away with Frostpaw again.
Nightheart looks up at her, "Why? It's not like that Sunbeam!"
"It sure looks like it!" Sunbeam would yell.
To say the least, Sunbeam doesn't trust Nightheart anymore. She doesn't want him to leave camp without her. Nightheart constantly has to say he loves her to keep her at ease. Basically he has to walk eggshells around her. Of course, his family recognizes what's happening. They try to get him out of this relationship, but Nightheart is insistent that everything is fine. "She's just worried is all" he would say, "It's my fault anyway." It's not his fault, but Sunbeam makes it seem like it. Even if she doesn't say it directly.
Though, at the end of the day, Finchlight convinces Nightheart to end the relationship. It doesn't go well and Sunbeam runs away. Nightheart thinks she'll be back by the next day, but she's not. She's gone from Thunderclan territory. At least for now, and what she's doing is plotting.
