Things in this new, changed world hadn't quite been what he expected. Turning the world into complete and utter fear, sure, but Elias's own place within that world wasn't what he anticipated. Though, in a way it was far superior. Never had he imagined how good it would feel to see everything to such an extent. All that fear flowed through him, spilling out in words he couldn't even stop it if he wanted to. His free will had been taken away almost entirely. Almost. His mind at least still seemed to exist separately from the body that told fears without pause. A gift? Perhaps. Or maybe Beholding simply dubbed it unnecessary. It got what it wanted of him after all.
His mind turned towards something in the distance, something that seemed familiar somehow. It was fuzzy, the blurry image of a domain that was guarded, but not entirely protected from the Eye's all seeing gaze. The protection around the house almost felt... Bitter. As if out of spite did it hide itself. Perhaps that would explain the energy he felt. Curious... If Elias put his mind to it, could he throw it there?
He focused, distancing himself from the cacophony of fear he could hear from his own mouth. It was a flicker, a fragment of a mind controlled, but he could see beyond himself. Once he managed to let go, he opened his eyes to the dark of the house. It was mostly unremarkable, but the place stunk of the Stranger. It was a sure confirmation to what he had expected, to who he believed was the one watching this domain.
"Well, this is a surprise," Elias's voice was distant and present all at once, even as his form seemed to only exist in a ray of light from the sky, "Tim. I never imagined I'd see you again. Let alone that you would have somehow survived... Well, you know." The smile on Elias's face was clear from any angle. As he spoke, there almost seemed to be whispers of fear still spilling from him, evident he wasn't completely separate from himself.
