So for 2019, I decided to work on one big project a month so I always have something to work with 😅 I was a bit impatient to see the end result and ended up with something I’m aaaaaalmost satisfied with. Plus this is the first piece I’ve finished on my new tablet 😭 The learning curve is real! Meet Spider-Fool!
I really wanted to make my own spider-man since Into The Spider Verse came out but forgot about it until I Across the Spider Verse The movie was so good I started sketching Spider-Fool as soon as I came home haha (Maybe next time I draw them I can show them out of costume and with their unique abilities...)
!TO ALL ARTISTS WITH A SPIDERSONA!
I am starting a project called We Are the Spider-Verse! An art project where I recreate the ATSV movie poster with the fandom’s spider-men as a kind of love letter and celebration of the series and the creativity the fans have shown.
So far 4 artists (including me) have sent their characters and are ready to join the new poster but that means I need to fill out the other 32 slots. That’s where you come in!
If you want to join all you have to do is like & reblog this post and either dm me or comment that you would like to join. You’ll be able to pick the spot your character goes depending on how early you ask to join. (Credits to the artists will be posted with the finished poster).
We Are The Spider Verse update #1
So far we have 9 of the 36 spots taken and I planned on reaching out to different social medias to fill out the rest of the spots but I slowed down on the project due to life stuff.
I am still working on the project though! And I want to take it as far as I can. I have done the lineart for all of the current spider-people and am gonna get the flat coloring for them done today. I don’t want to get started on the finishing touches like color correction and after effects until most of the spots are filled so that I can blend them together properly later on.
After the flat coloring is complete I plan to make a post for instagram and then eventually tiktok. (I’m also doing this alongside artfight so bare with me!).

I went to tiktok to see if anyone else was interested in this project and so many people responded!! I'm currently in the process of getting everyone's spot and social credits and very soon I can get started on their sketches!!
A handful of people did drop out so if you happen to have a friend that might be interested let me know within the week. :3
