Am I the only one who thinks the Defenders was Danny Rand’s redemption? The show did everything that his own show didn’t. It actually called him out on his bullshit and how his problems don’t compare to the others, it actually gave him a personality to contrast with the other characters. It showed him actually progress with his personality and we actually see the “Danny-has-no-ambitions-or-true-goals” problem that we had in the Iron Fist show become a plot-point and have him find a goal, protecting the city.
