not killing the villain because “we wouldn’t be any better than they are” is out. it’s boring. it’s been done before. telling the villain that you’re gonna kill them. that even if they come back, you’ll kill them. if they change their name and their form, you’ll kill them again. without any meaning or reason is IN. it’s fun. it’s fresh. it’s innovative.
