It Sucks Not Being Able To Vote - Tumblr Posts

UGH I felt so shit in my Politics class today cuz this guy came in and was talking about voting and how young ppl don't vote enough and yeah I AGREE okay?? I love politics and I think everyone should be more involved especially young people but then he asked who's going to vote when they can and I was like desperate to put my hand up but I'm not allowed ffs.

Like I felt like a loser little non voting shit who doesn't care about the government or policies that affect me bcs I had to keep my hand down.

I would!!! I would vote I swear!!! I just can't!!! I'm not eligible and I won't be eligible unless I give up things that are more useful to me than citizenship to a country I have barely any relation to and don't even like. Wifjajdow

It's so nor thar deep but I just felt like shit for not being able to put up my hand. I'm the most British passing foreigner ever. I'm so white and my accent is just sl8ghtly wonky English with the wonks being explained away by foreign parents--
