So I just learned that there is something called a CSM and it stands for circular sock machine
It’s a hand crank machine that makes socks
And there is also something called a tufting gun
It makes rugs
In my head I knew there might be something like that (in our industrial world, of course we made shortcuts) but dang if it isn’t interesting to see it in action

sorry just saw this stuff on YouTube and thought it was interesting
the csm was displayed by some cool lady and she was making like 20-30 socks to challenge herself
she was also telling the history of it
and the rug was some dude that thought making a peter griffin that fell down the stairs into a rug would be funny
it was a funny thought and it was super well made
