The thing I'll always love most about tmnt is that it is given to us in iterations.
It's new shows and movies created by new people! It has numerous canons, each doing their own thing! Characters can have powers or none at all and it's all valid!
Tmnt isn't one long continuous storyline with countless prequels and sequels and spinoffs. We don't have to worry about recon storylines and altering characters mid-show. You can literally read and watch as much tmnt media as you want and enjoy it!
