My Thought lol

okay so i’m not very good at head canons but this suddenly popped into my mind and i don’t know if someone has done this already. I was scrolling through the dark Percy hashtag and came across one talking about why Percy was the most powerful demigod.

They said it was because he didn’t restrain his powers. Like Nico had someone to teach him how to use his powers and while Jason didn’t i’m assuming his roman training came in hand on how to learn how to control his powers.

Percy didn’t have any training at all and almost always went with a gut feeling, he just explodes kinda and the water mimics his actions like at the volcano. 

but i like to think about after tartarus and if rick actually delved into the topic of Percy’s blood bending and becoming hyper aware of things. he can see and feel the liquid flowing through everything but keeps it to himself because he’s terrifying enough why add onto that.

but let’s say Annabeth hadn’t stopped him from killing the goddess of misery then what?? I’m going to assume Annabeth tells everyone about Percy’s new skill and if she didn’t tell them they all find out one way or another. 

so going back to Percy just exploding do you think he’d learn how to control this power cause last time he used it someone got hurt because instead of it hurting the intended target it hurts them and everyone around him.

and since it’s such a powerful skill you still have to back up a bit so you’re out of range so you don’t become affected.

another thing i thought of was what happens when he gets angry?? we already know the earth trembles and i can’t remember if rick described it or not but i feel like the air becomes suffocating and the smell of the ocean is extremely strong but would everyone be frozen in place? Percy just gets so angry that everyone’s blood starts to boil or it pumps too fast?? like for some people their blood evaporates and other it feels like the sea is in their veins. as if the blood is rushing through their body and colliding together to the point they feel like their gonna burst??
