it really is so great to read back my own fics and be like hey, that was pretty good actually. I always forget about that, and instead feel like "oh shit they probably all suck so much it's unreal, dying of embarrassement bye" and then when I do brave reading one after a while, it's always a good time! sure there's mistakes and some choices you'd change but the main point is still there
I think the lesson here is that you really are better than you think you are, and also if you can bring yourself joy with your creations then that's the best thing ever

this just happened to me last night
i was writing something when i remembered i haven't logged in my wattpad account for a while
so I did 👉🏼👈🏼
and i found a gigantic four-part story with four different oc's that i wanted to craft but i never finished
it was a lot actually
maybe i overestimated my plotting and writing capacities (and consistency) in that moment
but i dont think i can pull that story right now either
and i was sad remembering how happy i was in that moment for creating a universe that big
it was obviously set in the marvel universe
and if i could've pull it off it would've been my greatest pride
but i think its my greatest failure
it was a time where oc's universe and marvel universe were combined and i read a lot of stories like that
really awesome
but i just couldn't finished those stories
even tho i had a plan for everyting and i loved every character and thought about their lives in heavy detail
i still have love for those stories
but i dont think i could ever write them like i wanted too
some of the information even got lost
i've had three computers from the time i started writing that until today
its sad and it made a little nostalgic
but it also helped me a little to write something that i didn't know how to approach
a win is a win i guess
