*Inhale* I really really really love your redemption au and I would really love to see the scene where Beakely save Heron from falling to her death because she couldn’t lose her friend/crush

Whether Heron actually lets 22 save her or makes it more difficult out of spite, well... :)
Also have something from when I first thought about the au, bc this scene is literally what started it TWO YEARS AGO and I'm emotional ajjdjsjs

Okay I'm going to rant a bit and I'll reference one of the most recent eps so keep reading at your own risk

After the First Adventure, I'm pretty sure Redemption AU!Beakley has seen Heron "fall to her death" quite a lot of times. It never gets easier. Every single one had her regret not catching Heron before it was too late for days afterwards. Would she even let 22 save her? Beakley doubts it.
And then SHUSH "wins". No more FOWL. No more Black Heron for good. She never even got to say goodbye but maybe that was for the best.
Except that Heron's actually back, but this time Beakley knows that no matter what she could never live with herself if she let her go again.
