Took some time to let this whole Marco thing sink in. And honestly it is time, I'm not ready myself but he deserves this and more. He played for Dortmund for 12 years.. 12 years, more than a decade. Not even talking about the fact that he was a Dortmund fan like all his life. He went through really everything with BVB. Really good times, but also fucking heartbreaking bad ones. And yet he stayed. Because he could've left, hell he could've gone to any club in the world. But he stayed. For one year.. two.. three.. six.. ten.. 11.. and then the final one, the twelfth. And his career wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, hell nah, his immense talent and skill is undoubtedly he's one of the best of this generation in his position. Even though all these damn fucked everything up for him. But not enough for him to stop fighting and coming back everytime.

Then last year. The 27th May 2023. God I still remember this day all too well. I couldn't watch because my WiFi was broken or something, so I listened to the net radio of BVB. I was so excited for this day the whole week. The last game before and when Leipzig won against Bayern the first I thought was: "Damn Marco's finally getting it". Turns out it would end the complete opposite. I won't revise the game because y'all know what happened. Not lying when I say that I lost a few (a lot) tears this day. It was supposed to be Marco's perfect ending, to be honest I half expected him to retire if they'd really won it. But they didn't, they didn't win it and this fucks with my head 'til this day, even though it's almost been a year now.

But there's still hope that it all still could end perfectly. If they won the Champions League. It's very unlikely, but is it really? Cause, yeah they all maybe have better players like Mbappe, Vini Jr and Kane and we have Fülle (I love this man) and they have more money. But fuck it do they really want it? Real? Dunno wouldn't really change something if they won one more. PSG? Oh fuck these money seeking bastards. Bayern? Don't get the feeling like all of them really want to win this. But Dortmund? Hell if not for themselves they would do it for Marco. Because EVERYONE at this club would die for Marco. So I think they'll give their blood, sweat and tears for this. Cause everybody knows damn well, that everybody left and he stayed but now he will leave. So please, please end it in the best way possible for him and him only.
