I've Never Read The Crossover In It's Entirety But I Want To One Day - Tumblr Posts

To the people that had the chance to read the TMNT 2012/Batman Adventures crossover comic:

Do you think Batman would adopt the turtles once he's been made aware of Master Splinter's passing?

The thought had been in my mind for the longest time and I can't help but imagine Bruce Wayne, the Batman, single handedly taking the earliest flight to New York with adoption papers in hand after seeing the messages between Donnie and Batgirl. Messages which start out lighthearted but then slowly come to a stop because the turtles are busy with the Krang and the remnants of the Foot Clan. Once Donnie finally does respond to Batgirl's messages he starts with the classic "EvEryThiNGs fiNe!" but then that slowly starts to fall apart. The Bat family are detective's, the best around at that, they're gonna figure out that something changed the last time they saw the turtles.
