THE PREPARATION FOR THE school dance where in full swing. Something that will always be the on the agenda is; your date.

Swallowing thickly the spikey haired tseuro glares, not letting you back out this time, “You are going to go there and ask her. If you don’t I will blast your ass.”

“Ahw, you care about me!” you smile at the boy. Glaring at you, he holds his hand up that already started popping small blasts.

Slowly stepping back as you raise your hands at the spikey haired boy, you turn away as his glare intensifies.

Moving closer and closer to the girl, your stomach turns at all the possible horrible outcomes. As she was looking at her laptop, most likely figuring out the playlist as Jirou was set on musical duties by Yayorozu.

“I like your style!” you blurt out, eyes widening as the girl looks up. A soft smile tucks up her lip, “I like yours too.“ she replies.

Thinking about what that could mean for only a moment, you fiddle with your fingers, “So, uhm- I don’t have a date to the dance, and if you don’t either. Maybe, maybe we can go together.” you tell her, it didn’t really aound like an ask but maybe she picks it up.

“Like a date?” shs asks, slowly clapping her laptop close to give you, her full attention. Nodding at her question, you want to just take the L and leave. But the glare of your friend and the way his hands spark, jolt you back to turn back.

Taking a deep breath, you nod, “Yes, as a date.” you tell her. As her face crunches up in thought in a bit of an awkward manner. The confidence drains from your face, now thinking you imagined all the signs, “N-nevermind.“ you deny, wanting to leave.

“Wait, you like me?” she asks so suprised that you are unsure if you should answer. Nodding at the question, her brows raise, “Oh.” is all she says.

Shaking your head, you raise your hands, “If you- if you don’t. You’re not. That’s okay. I- I’m so sorry I asked.” you ramble out. Not being able to move bu the sheer embarrassment, you just look at your shoes.

“Pick me up at seven?”

Blinking quick, your head shoots up, “What, now?” you ask flabbergasted. Seen a small smile on her face, she tilts her head, “I would love to. Pick me up at seven.” she repeats.

Nodding fast, you can’t helo but smile brightly, “Okay.” you say, as you keep nodding. Making a chuckle escape the girl, “See you then.”

“See you then.”

TAKING A DEEP BREATH, you raise your head to knock on her door. Hearing a sniffle, you look back at your friends standing at the end off the hall.

Furrowing your brows as you see Kaminari lean against, Kirishima whom is leaning against Bakugou, while they whip their eyes, “They grow up so fast.” Denki cries out.

“So, manly, getting the girl.” Kirishima sniffles. Rolling your eyes, you can’t help but smile as you wave them away, “Stop staring. Your making it weird.”

“I can almost hear her voice, again.” Kaminari calls, as Bakugou screams at him to ‘shut the fuck up or he will ruin the moment’.

Choosing to just ignore their idiocy, you knock on the door. It opens fast, revealing a beautifully dressed Jirou, opening your mouth, then closing it, opening it again you just stare at the girl.

Your heart raises out of your chest as you take her in. The dress, the shoes, the girl. The girl! Your breath is just taken away.

Realising you have been staring. You swallow thickly, holding the flowers in her face, “Flowers.” you blurt out, completely putting your foot in your mouth.

“And a corsage.” you say a little softer. Smiling softly at the girl, as she takes the gifts she pulls you with her into the room.

“You- you look really nice.” you stutter, not quite sure what to do with yourself. As she sets the flowers in an empty vase, she turns back to you untying the tie Bakugou let you borrow.

Making your brows raise at her, “It’s not like that.” she denies, a flush blooming on her face, “I got you something.” she offers. Taking a lap of fabric from her nightstand, you keep still, as she raps it around your shirt. You look down at the crossover bow tie with a gemstone instead of a button.

“I thought it really suited you. And it does.” she mumbles. A content smile playing on her lips, as she traces the tie. Not wanting to break the moment you mumble soft: “Thank you, it’s amazing, Jirou.”admiring the girl infront of you.

Holding your hand out, you can’t get the smile off your face, “My lady.” you say.

As she takes your hand, she wraps her arm around yours, “My lady.” she repeats, pressing a soft kiss to your cheeks.

To stund to say anything, you just smile bigly at the girl, “Let’s go, dork.” she mumbles. Pulling you with her to the dance.

“This is gonna be the best night ever.”

CONSENT | BAKUSQUAD

SUMMARY → what the bakusquad does in ways of making sure you are okay; aka how do they communicate consent.

i. ASHIDO MINA

has had many talks about consent with you before your relationship started, because of that she feels like she knows a lot more about you. still you two never had that conversation since you started going out and is not quite sure how to bring it up. so instead she just goes slow; making sure that there is always a moment for you to tell her you want to stop and will do so immediately when you even show the slightest signs of hesitation. there is no world where she wants the love of her life to be uncomfortable and definitely not by her or her actions.

ii. BAKUGOU KATSUKI

you never really talked about consent before, but just like ashido he goes slow making sure you can always tell him to stop. he is uncharacteristically gently in these moments as he wants you to know that if you want him to stop, you can tell him and he won’t be mad, but is kind of too awkward and prideful to put that in words.  

iii. JIROU KYOKA

the two of you have a relationship where you can look at each other and just know what the other is thinking. and she uses that as she keeps glancing at you every time the two of you move a little further. continuously making sure you are comfortable and when she sees any sign of hesitation she instantly stops and apologises; even when you reassure her that you are just a little nervous, she is still worried, and it is incredibly endearing how far she will go to make sure you are always sure in any physical encounter you two might find yourselves. 

iv. KAMINARI DENKI

mans went it with guns blazing; like he finally got you to say yes to being his girlfriend after a bit of dating and thinks it is an open invitation to you. when he kisses you again and he feels your hesitation he immediately remembers that he never even asked you if you were okay with any of this. he is incredibly sorry and apologises for so long. after it he will not initiate any of the physical encounters to make sure whenever you two take that step again it is completely on your terms.  

v. KIRISHIMA EIJIRO

straight up just asks you; he does not want to feel it out. it doesn’t matter if it’s your first time together or the hundred time. is a firm believer of; ‘just because their s/o said yes before does not mean it is a yes now.’ which is exactly how consent works. asking for consent is incredibly manly and hot.

vi. SERO HANTA

as soon as he feels like you two get into a little more deeper kisses he opens up the consent book; and asks you everything you are comfortable with and uncomfortable with. he does not want you to feel pressured to do anything just because it seemed like he wanted it; and honestly that just made you feel incredibly save.

Jirou will literally confess to you in a quite romantic, but also type of shy way? Like not really shy or anything just will be scared if you like her back

When you two start dating she would probably ask you to not tell everyone right away so it doesn't cause mass panic lmao (because it probably would)

Love languages are quality time and words of affirmation

Quality time because of the fact that you guys are heroes it takes a loooot of time so she just loves to spend some time with you

Sharing headphones with her while walking somewhere or study is awww.

Also she would often ask you, when she sits on the couch for you to sit on the ground between her legs with your back facing her so she could play with your hair

She is also very stressed for you when you have to fight the LoV and would like to be near you when the people form the class pair up in the groups
