Eunmi and Jiyeon share laughs over their late-night lattes. A chance to catch up after a few months of silence between the two friends. Jiyeon shakes her head, a content smile on her face as she traced the rim of her coffee cup.
"Yeah no, I thought leading my own Girl Group would be a piece of cake. Dad made it look so easy."
"I could never lead a group. How many girls do you guys have?"
"Four. So far, anyway. Have you ever thought of joining a group? You'd be so amazing at it."
Eunmi gave a dismissive laugh. She wrapped her hands around the warm ceramic mug. Why didn't she do it? Her own father basically groomed her for it. "I just, I don't know, Ji.."
"Oh c'mon! You can sing, dance, you're so beautiful that anyone would take you," Eunmi rolled her eyes at the last part. "I'm just saying, homegirl. We got a few spots open. We're not looking to debut until March. Give it a thought."
The friends held a look for a few seconds before Eunmi smirked against her coffee cup. "Maybe"
