Ok this is JJ and Naiad readers time to shine, how they met/the start of their love story (at least in JJ's mind). I gave readers sister a name since shes one of my other nymph reader, but feel free to change it if you want. Might be a long one again, but hope yall enjoy! ✌️

The boneyard was thriving with music, lights, and the sounds of people having fun. Pogues, tourons, and kooks all gathered together having fun not worrying about regrets they may have tomorrow. The pogues big four and the kook princess turned pogue are huddled together laughing and enjoying being together before splitting off. After what they had gone through they needed this party as a reward and to not worry about the cost of the choices they had made. JJ was ready to break off from the group so he could find his next conquest. After the day he's had, he needs a beauty in his (John Bs) bed moaning out his name. Though none of them are doing it for him, they're beautiful, but not quite what he's looking for. He didn't have time for this, he just needs to pick one now and think about it later. So he did... a beautiful blonde that has been looking at him for the pass 30 minutes. Putting on his signature charm made it easy to get her in his bed, kind of boring to be honest. He needed more of a challenge, at least for the night, being able to find a girl and get in bed with her within 5 minutes is too easy. Well maybe next time he can find some-

"Hali! Hey Hali where the hell are you?!"

Through the thick music a voice cut through and drew his attention to the direction of the alluring voice. There he saw a a beautiful girl who looked frantic as she called out someone's name. Her braids bounced as she ran around and her nose charmingly scrunched up as her face turned from worry to anger. He couldn't keep his eyes off of her, disregarding the girl next to him even when she hit him to get his attention. But like a sirens song her captivated him, and he couldn't look away or stop himself from approaching her. Even when she's clearly angry and arguing with someone.

"You've had enough fun now it's time to go! Mom n dad can wake up at any minute!"

Her accent that was a mix of the regular obx dialect and something else was intriguing to him. Maybe he could ask when he gets to talk to her, but that doesn't seem like it'll happen anytime soon. The other girl, who he assumes is Hali, backs away and shows aggression towards her.

"I ain't a baby! We just got here and you expect me to leave? Just go fuck off n stop being so up tight!"

The other girl is crossing her arms giving an equally angry look, not wanting to leave anytime soon.

"Uptight?! I'm holdin you to your word, you said an hour n a gave you that! You're my little sister so yea you're a baby to me!"

"You ain't that much older than me (y/n)! I'm staying n you can't make me leave so go home by yourself! Maybe if you got some dick you wouldn't be such a bitch."

ooooo's resounded around JJ from a crowd he didn't know was forming. Looking at the girl, (y/n), it was evident that she was ready to jump at her sister. When her back was turned to walk away (y/n) was preparing to pounce when JJ took his chance and grab her by the waist.

"(Y/n), (y/n) just chill out... It's not that serious."

He was enjoying touching (y/n)'s soft skin, even though he's only noticed her today he's become infatuated. (Y/n) turns her head to face him a look of anger and confusion evident on her face as she's clearly wondering who the fuck would dare-

"Who the fuck are you?! Let go of me ya creep!"

She forces herself out of his hold, as much as he hated letting her go, it's reasonable for her to label him as a 'creep.' He watched as (y/n) looked looked around to see that her sister had disappeared into the crowd. The party had continued no one paying any mind to the two's situation. Her anger seemed to be bubbling again as she turns towards him, man it feels like he's trying to calm a wild animal.

"Hey-Hey I just saved you from embarrassing yourself from attacking someone. Look I think we got off on the wrong foot, let's just calm down and sit."

He grabbed her wrist and gently led her to one of the many dead logs. She looked at him with disdain, but still she followed him and sat on the log. JJ does love her the way her nose scrunches when she's angry.

"Alright well let me know the name of my 'savior,' you already know mine so it's only fair to know yours."

JJ's position changes as his confidence builds, his name is well known so he knows he'll have her being putty in his hands. She's gonna be wowed when she hears my name!

"JJ Maybanks is the name, no need to gasp but if you faint make sure to fall into me babe."

Instead of her gasping she scoffs and instead of fainting her eyes roll. He couldn't believe it, all the ladies love him!

"OH great it's the manwhore of obx."

(Y/n) got up and walked to the shabby self-serving bar to make herself a drink. JJ followed quickly behind her not wanting to lose sight of her or her attention.

"Woah woah! What do you mean 'manwhore of obx?' There's no way you're talking about me, how bout the most desirable man in outerbanks or hottest man you ever lad eyes on?"

(Y/n) looks at the blonde with a dead stare, boring into his clear blue-gray eyes. He has a joking expression on his face, but his eyes are clearly showing desperation? Is he really upset by that name? She thought he knew and wore it like a badge of honor... The longer she looked at him the more she's gotta admit he's really good looking. His statement about being the hottest man in outerbanks could be true, she could stare into his eyes and body all day. But she has to look away after 30 seconds; continue making the cocktail to look disinterested. If she knows his reputation then she knows what he's after. She grateful for him saving her of embarrassment of fighting in public, and possibly ruining her relationship with her sister. But she's not stupid, he wants to get in her pants and have her be another conquest. She's not that easy...

"Look I'm gonna be straight with you, I'm not gonna sleep with you. Thank you for helping me, but you gotta find another girl to sleep with. Stop wasting your time."

She quickly turns a walks away, taking a sip of her cocktail and trying not to gag or make a face from the bitterness. JJ stood stunned, sleeping with her crossed his mind but he wanted to her talk not just her moans. He quickly follows her almost tripping on the loose sand. Once he's caught up he follows her pace quickly thinking of how to ease her mind.

"W-wait I wasn't thinking of having sex with you-" She doesn't believe him "Ok maybe I was a little at the beginning, but it's not like that now-" She can't believe him, she just met him "I'm serious, I only want to talk and get to know you. I want to just talk-" She SHOULDN'T believe him "And maybe become friends, it will be chill."

She looked at him a look of disbelief and distrust, he couldn't really be serious. He couldn't really want to be friends and just talk after saying he did want to sleep with her? He really didn't believe that she would just agree to be around him after that admission? But the face he was making right now begged to differ. It was a face that pleaded for her to believe him, and whether or not he knew he was playing into her maternal instincts. She couldn't believe she was doing this.

"Okay..."

The blonde jumped for joy and told her to follow him, fast walking and looking back to make sure she was still there. She sighed and followed him, a weak smile slowly gracing her face.

Why did she believe him? Why did he want her? Why her?
