i absolutely love that every episode of jet lag basically goes along the lines of something like

This is such an amazing idea, I love it!

I came up with a really good concept for a Jet Lag season based off of University Jailbreaks:

Two teams: Ben and Adam, and Sam and a guest.

Players have three days to co-ordinate with their teammate to get as far away from them as possible, with the obvious end goal of ending up at completely opposite ends of the earth, such as Peru and Thailand, or Australia and Scotland.

The travel mechanic would be the same as that of Tag, with coins correlating to different modes of transport, though weighted differently to make catching flights possible, and with the possibility of earning double the reward if both teammates complete the same challenge at the same time.

To prevent a team sticking together until the last hour to grind challenges and then do a single flight to their end destination, players would be required to be in a different country from their teammate by hour 5, and players would be unable to take flights that take more than a certain number of hours unless they’re across open ocean (such as trans-Atlantic flights).

Players can curse the other team to fuck up their journey, curses including:

For the next three hours, you must only travel if your teammate is also on the same mode of transport (with a five minute leeway for different departure times etc.)

For one teammate to take their next mode of transport, the other must immediately disembark the mode of transport they are currently on.

You must discard your current plans and get on a train heading in the same direction your teammate is travelling in.

You cannot progress in the game until you are dressed the same as your teammate - you may pick who has to look like who.

Both teammates change the language of your phone to that of the country your teammate is in.

The next country you travel to has to, within 10 degrees, have the same predicted temperature as your teammates’ current country at the time of your arrival.

Chaos ensues.
