summary: you join jude’s family to watch his little brother play and seem to catch media attention about who you could possibly be

the match came down to penalties and jobe had all of you on the edge of your seats. when it was his time to get on the line, jude clasped his hand in yours, bringing it up to his mouth as he whispered prayers and affirmations even though he knew his brother possessed the power to win. you raised you hand and crossed your fingers while you watched jobe begin approach the ball. just as he kicked, you squeezed your eyes shut until the roar of the crowd hit your ears and you opened them to cheer.

was the screaming dramatic? absolutely.

were you so proud of jobe that you and jude both began to jump out of pure excitement like little kids? yes

and did you use your fingers to whistle loudly also, yes.

you leaned on the balcony and yelled your praises down to jobe who sent a heart up to you all, which you met with a bow of your head and hands. jude joined in an his parents belly laughed at your dramatic celebrations.

it wasn’t until later that you saw the clip of the cameras catching your celebrations. it showed all of you jumping in slow motion as the ball hit the net, then it cut away from the replay and showed live footage of the four of you giving one another high fives. you and denise were giddy with adrenaline and she gave you a two handed high five above your head before sitting back down.

as the match ended, the four of you took to finding jobe. jude’s hand never left yours as you walked through the crowd of other people in suites who were also going to the pitch. he waved to people who called out to him but his focus was finding his little brother who won man of the match. jude was beaming and so excited to see jobe.

when jobe appeared, jude rushed to meeting him and immediately crushed him in a hug and kissed his temple. you pulled out your phone to record the adorable moment with an adoring smile on your face. family was so important to you and as you dated jude, you had the pleasure of becoming apart of their family. denise and mark loved you like a daughter and jobe was the little brother that you always wanted. jude always said that jobe could do no wrong in your eyes and no matter how much you denied that, it was the truth. there were many moments that jobe would answer your call instead of jude’s or he would call you instead of jude. it made jude a little jealous but it made him happier than anything to see you being accepted in his family.

you kept recording as their parents joined in the hug and held on another tightly. other photographers came to capture the sweet moment. there wasn’t a significance to the game other than all four of you finally being able to support jobe, all together for the first time. you teasingly told jobe if he didn’t score a goal that it was going to break your heart.

“i told you i was gonna score one!” jobe broke away from the hug, reaching out to do your handshake that you created. his smile was wide and your were giggling as you snapped your fingers at the end. jobe went to pull you in for a hug but you protested at him being sweated.

“let me get a picture of you and jude, c’mon.” you shooed him closer to his brother. you were constantly taking photos of the boys. not for your own benefit but to share with denise and she stood to the side, beaming at you and your excitement of being able to capture them together. the two embraced one another and then motioned for you to join them.

“babe, c’mon.” jude stepped to the side to create a gap for you to fill. you handed your phone to denise who was already reaching for it. you stood between and jobe told you to cross your arms over your chest and you all did, sending a very serious expression to the camera. there was never a serious moment between the three of you.
