Ok ok ok hear me out. Juper gets rescued by the EOD, right. And he gets forced to work there. Average 'juniper lives' au. BUT. handler is the ones overseeing him and shit and they work together and it goes from enemies to lovers but in the soft silly domestic way instead of the high stakes intense way. They're just two guys that go from being bitter and angry to enjoying each other's company and affection :]]]]

Ieytd fandom. Come hither. I truly believe from the deepest recesses of my charred heart of coal that juniper should be allowed to be the whiny bitch man-baby he is in the game. Let him be an egotistical power hungry maniac PLEASE. I need more. Let that man be your average silly villain. This game radiates Saturday morning cartoon energy and I NEED more of that for juniper. Let him be evil. Have him throw a little whiny baby tantrum like in the game. He's a 40 year old man child who thinks he should own everything he looks at. I want to beat him with a hammer. I want to grind him into a slushie. I want to turn him into paste. We need more content of juniper being a little shit PLEASE. I need more. He's so fucking funny in the games cause he's such a little SHIT. He's so manipulative and egotistical. He's so charming and funny but then as soon as he doesn't get what he wants, the façade drops and he turns into a little whiny BITCH. Shaking all of you PLEASE let him be evil. I'm on my hands and knees sobbing.

hi. going to speak on something that's been bothering me for the past... however long, since it seems like complaint posts have been cropping up lately. putting this under the cut.

Maybe I'm reading too far into things. Maybe I'm wrong. But I feel like there is a massive difference in how this fandom treats the women versus the men.

Again. Maybe I'm wrong. I sincerely hope I'm just wrong. It's hard to think that, though, when I see the differences in how people treat the major antagonists of the series.

John Juniper is a fandom favorite. I feel like people have talked about him more than any other character I've seen, save for Agent Phoenix and perhaps the Handler. I see people come up with any reason for him to not actually be as bad of a person as we see in canon - despite the fact that he wants to launch nuclear weapons. He wants to kidnap and impersonate public figures. He's having a good time playing the villain. I've seen his actions excused in any number of ways.

Meanwhile... When people do talk about Solaris, it tends to be to remind people of very surface level information, rather than to do any sort of in depth analysis style posts. I see information that's incomplete or just not really true passed around a lot. The Fabricator is flattened down so incredibly often to just one character trait - her anger, typically exaggerated to be comical hatred of John Juniper in particular or just... Violence in general. And yes, she gets angry frequently, but I never see her given the same depth to that anger as John Juniper is given to his. And Prism? An antagonist that gets as much screen time as Juniper, if not more? I hardly see her mentioned at all these days. And even when she was talked about, I don't recall seeing many people analyze her character. Or talk about her motivations. Definitely not in the same way Juniper gets talked about, at the very least. All three of them are mischaracterized often, from my observations, flattened to pave the way for... John Juniper, mostly.

And that's not even getting into the background women who aren't talked about at all when compared to the men with similar story roles.

It's... Frustrating. I surround myself with people who enjoy the characters I do, who find it interesting to talk about the women in this game. I make the content I want to see. But the last time I said anything outside of those close circles, I was told to... Make the content I want to see. To engage with the content that's out there. And that frustrates me, too. Because I'm making it. I had been making it. I was actively working on Biomechatronic at the time. I was drawing, posting my art, and ever since I entered the fandom I've focused mainly on the women - The Fabricator, in particular. And I don't make art just for views or internet points or what have you, but it is discouraging to feel like the fandom doesn't care about what I have to offer.

Like whatever characters you want to like. I'm not trying to tell anyone to stop making the art or posts they enjoy making. But... I have noticed a trend, and it's one I find somewhat concerning. That's all.

IEYTD characters and Y/N that has anxiety

Platonic, romantic, take it as you will.

The Handler

He has had his fair share of scares in his field days. But also has had to handle agents panicking in life or death situations.

Would make you some tea and let you talk about it.

If theres no particular reason as to why your in such state, then he reassures you that it's okay.

Of you need silence, he'll give you that, need something to put your mind off of it? He can do that also.

If you ever get a panic attack he would hug you if near by or would calm you down via ear piece if he's far.

Whatever you need he will try his best to help, for thats his job as a handler.

"Whatever you need, im here for you"

Hivemind

Probably the first time he's had to help you with it.

Man is a bit crazed so forgive him for not seeing the signs earlier.

Assuming that you dont mind bees or even might like them considering weather you work or date him. He would get a couple of his bees to swarm you but not harm you in hopes to calm you down with the sound of buzzing.

Would probably bring honey flavored things to you to sheer you up.

Need a distraction, he will talk about the beuty of the bees.

If you get a Panic attack he would be extremely worried. Like get his bees away from you (for the safety of both) and will panic a bit calling out for you. Maybe think your sick or poisoned.

Once he realizes he might call doctor zor for help since he's the closest to a medical profecional.

In the end hes hugging you on the floor affirming you.

"Everything is fine, everything's going to be fine, me and my bees are here for you"

Comander Solaris

She would notice you being a bit more fidgety then normal as you two talk about the latest ship.

She would ask if you wanna talk about it and if not she would ask how she could help.

She would probably give you her desert food ration.

If you get a panic attack, worst in space, she will try to ground you.

If its during a space walk to fix the ship, she will help you and calm you down, maybe give you confidence.

"Y/n. Y/n! Listen. I know you can go through with this, you are part of the team we will be here by your side when you need us"

John Juniper

He can spot it from a mile away.

Its not from personal experience, more of him seeing it on other actors.

He might boast about how he's never experienced it and the show must go on.

But he would still help a fellow member of the cast crew.

Idk he gives me the hunch that if its one of those times where you get anxiety with no reason he would think its stupid but maybe keep it to himself because he doesn't want to make it worst.

He would help you with breathing exercises and telling you he believes in you, weather you just draw up the curtains or one of the actors.

God forbade that you get a panic attack during a live show, worst if your an actor.

He would be frustrated, you signed up for this! The show must go on!

But still, he would grab you by the shoulders and pep you up.

"Listen, you were picked for this roll, and you cant back out now. I trust the producers choice of you being the best for the role. Not better than me but still. I need you to take a deep breath in, and out... okay? Now go out there!"

The fabricator

Depending on how close you are to her.

If its just in the area of work colleagues she wouldn't care. As long as you do your work correctly then its okay.

But if your friends with her its a diferent situation.

Probably take you to a spa for manipeties.

And if you have a panic attack shes preped for any last minute mishap.

She has make up to hide any puffy eyes, hair products for hair, sewing kit on hand.

She would fix you up once you've calmed down. No friend of hers will go out looking like they came out of a tornado.

"Listen, your y/n, and im the fabricator, we are beutiful as we are deadly. The others should think twice of what they say or do to us. Unless they want their watches to self destruct"

Dr. Zor

Genuenly they would not give two shits about your anxiety. Depending on how useful you are they might even prescribe you drugs so you can shut the fuck. (If your on medication then its okay, but mind you, your getting these from a listened psychiatrist who is catering your needs and doses. Dr.zor isnt one and they are an evil dentist so I see them prescribing people random opiets to see what works to shut them up)

But if you get them to actually care for you then its a diferent story

They would have a weighed blanket.

If the anxiety is from fear of dentists they would happily do your treatments personally.

Some tea, relaxing piano, and if you want to they would gladly listen to you or by request would talk about his plans. Maybe ask you for help on simple tasks.

If you ever get a Panic Attack they would go to you and try their best to calm them down. Wrapping you with the weight blanket and tell you to take deep breaths.

"Do not worry, for as long as your with me, nothing will hurt you"

Extra

Agent Phoenix (wasnt gonna add them since technically their us like a y/n but why not)

They do not fear death but understands that others don't have such luxury.

They would try to make you laugh with telekinesis and doing dumb shit.

Although sometimes will make it worst with all the bold stuff they do.

They barely talk, almost not at all but you still know their intentions.

They may spill a bunch of tea using their telekinesis to pour you a cup.

Genuenly the only thing they would be worried of is them being the reason for you getting more anxious or worst giving you a panic attack.

They would calm you down by giving you random stuff that they think you would like, either a sandwish, some tea, one of their golden scorpions. Usually you would get a mess on you but they give them to you by hand in fear of accidentally making a mess.

Like always they calm you in silence.

Idk how to seperate my coment thing so here you go in chat. I hope I didn't messed up in a way, I didn't see any IEYTD head canons so I wanted to put my two scents.

I didnt include characters from the third game since I haven't finished playing it, still looking for the figurine in the 4th level.

I'll try to include them next time, but for now I hope you guys enjoyed this

I expect you to die au?

okay, this fun little idea has been sping in my head all day and no one else I know cares about IEYTD so I'm just gonna talk about it here.

Imagine right after the events of the second game. Both Phenix and Juniper survive and get picked up by Zoraxis. On the way, they are both put inside a transport box and have to work together to escape, cue hijinks as Juniper has to guess what Phenix is trying to communicate, all while they both learn to trust each other.

It could end with them getting rescued, an adorable moment between Phoenix and the Handler, and Phoenix defending Juniper, with him than joining the agency.

or it could end with them meeting Zoraxis, with Juniper and Phenix fearing for their life. I like to imagine that right before seeing them, Juniper gives Phenix their mask so that they can keep their identity a secret ( up until this point they would have used it to cover up the burn scars on their face from the mask).

It's not much but I thought it would be a cute/funny sitcom-like situation with Juniper being stressed and Phenix deciding to take revenge by being as annoying as possible. With a few heartfelt moments of understanding mixed in for good measure.

I just imagine Juniper remembering this sometime later…

John Juniper: For an agent, you’re a surprisingly good actor.

John Juniper: *walking around without security, getting harassed by a crazed fan* oh, uh- *sees Phoenix and grabs onto their arm* this is actually who I'm dating! Yeah, honey, this is a fan. Um... They've been following me for some time now.

Agent Phoenix: *who was trying to break into the theater for their mission, seeing how nervous John is* oh have they now?! You got something to say to my boyfriend? Make it quick because we have to go! What? Cat got your tongue? Can't speak now? Well then we shall be leaving! John is too busy and important for this! Come on, babe! *Pulls him away*

John Juniper: ... Thanks for playing along. *Holds on just a tad tighter as they walk into the building*

I’m trying to complete the full song and with fleeting motivation, it gets tricky, but Im proud to say I’m 1/3 of the way done! Unless I completely lose my motivation, I will try to finish it:)

Me and my little sister were having a good time playing the ieytd series when we started a “discussion” on who’s the best male character in the game. I was #TeamReginald and my sister was #TeamJuniper. This sums up the whole conversation in a nutshell

My sister: Juniper has everything! He’s hot, charismatic, funny, and an amazing actor and villain! What more can I give? Me: Did he try to hurl himself into the depths of the ocean to try and save you when a giant security squid threatened your life? I didn’t think so:)

ieytd Lore #4 Spotlight on The Hatchling (Pt 1)

(Warning: Mentions of blood, violence and canonical death)

Reginald said this would be a mission, but it didn’t feel like it. The blinding lights throughout the stage, the discordant melody of instruments tuning, it was all so unfamiliar but oh so beautiful. Pheoness, all dressed up in her satin tuxedo, takes a seat. Her arm runs across the soft fabric from the arm of the chair. This was Pheoness’s first time in a theater, so every sound, every sight, were new to her. Agent Pheonix was already set up backstage, attempting to find info on whatever Zoraxis activity was occurring here. Next to her was a fidgety, hyperactive Reginald. “Reginald! Calm down! Remember, we have to focus on what’s important.” She said, pointing at the Prime Minister, the man that they were trying to protect. Reginald calms down but her grip was still like iron on the chair’s arm “Yes, you’re right, agent.” He muttered and spoke in his earpiece “Pheonix? Any suspicious activity?” On the other side, Phoenix can be heard, seemingly eating something. “Nope, just setting things up backstage. And we get free donuts!” Pheoness sighs wearily, of course Pheonix’s first priority was food. After a few minutes, the lights start to dim and the curtain raises, presenting the Hollywood Actor John Juniper, which makes Reginald let out a small squeal “It’s John Juniper, IN THE FLESH!” Pheoness had to grip his arm gently to calm him “Yes, Reginald. Now breathe.” Pheoness didn’t exactly hate Juniper, but she just found him maybe just a LITTLE overrated. “Uh…guys..that mask looks weird..I think it’s boobytrapped.” Pheonix says “Well then figure it out and disable it! It’s already hard enough to control this-this toddler!” She demands shakily as she sees the mask descending onto the stage. “Reginald! The mask is dangerous!” Pheoness shakes him out of his starstruck daze. “I…I think I got it!” Pheonix exclaims. It was the last thing they heard before the mask exploded, the impact sending them back slightly. When Pheoness regains her vision, the mad and the theater is up in flames! Heavy clouds of smoke burned her eyes and lungs as the sound of screaming and audiences panicked footsteps fill the room. “Reginald..you okay…?!” She shouts and after a second, hears Reginald’s voice in the midst of all the chaos “Yea! The Prime Minister got out safe! Let’s get out of here!” Her head was pounding with pain as she hobbled away to the nearest emergency exit. But she stopped. She had to, for a noise made her. One that paralyzed her in her position.

Update on Juniper animatic

Im so sorry everyone. The website I used for animating and creating the animatic glitched out and now all the progress I had for the animatic is just gone now..I don’t know what happened and I feel like crap because I put hours of work into it. Might redo it, might not💔

Now I know how Prism feels to have worked so hard on something just to watch it be destroyed.

I 100% support this. The fact that my OC agent Pheoness is Asexual makes this so much more funnier😭🤣

Incubus John Juniper who uses his powers to make everyone like him and lust for him so much that he is basically the first pick for every role because no one can withstand his raw sexual appeal. Then in safe and sound when he kidnaps Agent Phoenix he fully expects Phoenix to be so turned on by being so close to him that they basically give themself up but instead they interrupt his monologue by yelling "hey can you shut tf up? Christ you're such a pompous jackass."
