Okay remember Claire's premonition on John meeting a white haired dude we find out IS HIS UNCLE??? I ACTUALLY CANNOT WAIT FOR THE TRAINING ARC THAT'LL PROBABLY UNFOLD WITH JOHN LEARNING FROM HIS UNCLE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. ALSO I WANNA SEE REMI AND JOHN INTERACT MORE SINCE THEY'RE IDEALS ARE SO SIMILAR AND THE WAY THEY GO ABOUT IT IS SO DIFFERENT FROM ONE ANOTHER. UGH REMINDS ME OF EUCLASE AND PHOS' DYNAMIC. OR EVEN SEEING REMI AND/OR SERA SAVING AND INTERACTING WITH JOHN'S MOM LIKE BADASS WOMEN FOR THE WINNNNNN

I'm rereading UnOrdinary and I'm dreading to read any further cuz unlike other corrupted hero stories i know of, John physically hurts to watch cuz he isn't even really fighting with anyone, he's fighting himself most of the time. and as someone who basically projects themself on to the protagonist 99% of the time. it hurts SO much.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the reason John actually hid his ability wasn't becuz he was scared of hurting anyone else but mainly because he didnt want to be used again?
