Thinking about… 

Falling asleep on Nanami Kento’s shoulder.

The first time it happened, the both of you were just co-workers on the way home from work, and had coincidentally gotten on the same train. You looked exhausted, more than he was. Not long after the observation, Nanami felt something drop on his shoulder. He looked over to see you asleep, your chest heaving with each breath you took. He woke you up when the train stopped at the next stop, only for you to panic a little and apologise for falling asleep, and he assured you that it was fine. 

At one point, only the both of you were left in the train. There weren’t any words exchanged between you, but there was only one more stop before the trains stopped running, so he knew the both of you were headed to the same spot. 

So you were the new neighbour that moved into the apartment next to his. He found it cute how you awkwardly smiled and waved at him before heading into your home when you realised. 

The second time it happened, the both of you had already gotten a lot closer to each other. You had fallen asleep on his shoulder after work again, but this time, he knew he didn’t need to wake you up until he got to his stop. You lived right beside him anyway. One thing he didn’t take into consideration was just how tired you were. 

When Nanami woke you up, he could practically see how you were struggling to walk in a straight line, still groggy from sleep. You felt him wrap his arm around your shoulder to support you right after you got out of the train. Okay, to be fair, you would have thought you were drunk too. 

Once the both of you arrived at the apartments, he watched as you clumsily unlocked the door, and he led you inside, took your shoes off, and walked you back to your room. Nanami looked at you as you plopped down onto your bed before finding a piece of paper and sticking it to the fridge, just in case you somehow managed to forget everything during the time you looked as if you were about to collapse after every step.

The third time you fell asleep on Kento’s shoulder, you had already started dating. You were over at his place watching a movie, and dozed off somewhere towards the finale of the film. This time, he looked at you with softness in his eyes, and instead of needing to worry about you not waking up to get off the train, he pulled you in closer and closed his eyes before resting his head right on top of yours.
