[♡] "can she come in with me?" if you didn't know him well enough, you wouldn't be able to notice the excitement in his voice at the prospect of you joining him on his tattoo appointment.

with a certain nod from his friend, the one who was tattooing him ever since his skin met ink for the first time, you went inside the room, deciding that the little stool in the corner was enough, still nervous about seeing him in such a vulnerable way. you knew his tattoos were important and super personal to him, something you rarely talked about because he was entitled to have a little privacy about them, and it made you feel flattered, almost honored in a way to be allowed in something that for him can be so precious.

jungkook easily took his shirt off for the tattoo artist to be able to easily access the inner part of his bicep, only for you to cover the other half of his body, scared of his skin turning even whiter because of how cold it was in here, making the both of them laugh at how protective you can be. the security camera in the corner, almost too near the chair he was sitting in, turning into your temporary enemy.

and even if you were holding too much stuff, like your heavy coat and his, both of your bags and his phone and yours, you still scrambled to be even closer to him to just hold his hand when he reached out for you.. smiling at seeing him a bit drowsy from the whole thing. the almost sleepy smile he gave you while grabbing your hand made you feel dizzy from how crazy the butterflies in your stomach started to turn. you were so in love with him.

[♡] As someone who feels like he has seen everything in life and has experienced moments he once thought were impossible to experience; Jungkook recurs to let himself be surprised by the simple things. A bird flew by and decided to join him on his early breakfast by the balcony? The highlight of his week. A little girl approached him in the park asking for help to tie her shoelaces? He could not be prouder of helping her. And when it comes to having you in his life... It feels so right. Every single moment you both spend together makes his world go round. Partners come and go; but you’re the real deal. He knows he has very little chances to find someone like you; probably one in a million, that’s why you’re so special to him.

As soon as he wakes up, he checks the phone and instantly gets out of bed once he finds a text from you letting him know you're coming over to have some breakfast. Lazy Saturdays are the best. 

As he finds the kitchen spotless from last night; he somehow wishes it wasn't and he wishes there were still remains from a hypothetical cooking night between the both of you; one of his favorite activities that are so precious to him when it comes to you. Once you come through the door, you find him sitting in the kitchen, swinging his legs playfully, patiently waiting for you. He doesn't hesitate to come down from his spot and hug you once he sees you. He's excited to hold you and he shows you exactly that, leaving an excited groan once you're between his arms. He's so cute. “Did you miss me?" you look up at him and his heart skips a beat once he sees your smile; you're so pretty. every day, but especially today. even the earrings you were wearing (the ones he's especially proud of choosing as a birthday gift) were enhancing your face in the most beautiful of ways. You are so pretty. it tumbles out of his lips and it makes you squirm with joy, leaving a nice smooch on his lips afterwards. you don't stay in his arms too long though; the heavy plastic bags setting your hands on fire making you run to the nearest counter to settle them down.

He's left there entranced in the way you confidently stride across his kitchen; knowing where to place all of the things you bought and knowing where everything is after many hours spent together in this apartment, and definitely many nights of binge eating together. You're telling him about your morning and he swears he's listening to you intently, but at the same time he's trying to drink you in. from your silky hair, your perfect figure, noticeable even under all those layers of clothes thanks to the cold weather today. He smiles once he gets to process the fact that you're telling him you'd gotten out of your way to get those pastries he really loved on your first date together. And you're starting the coffee machine too. You make a killer coffee too. What did he ever do in his previous life to even deserve you? 

It's not common for him to not answer for a while so that's why you turn around to take a look at him, leaving the two mugs of coffee unattended. "Is everything okay?” he instantly nods but you stride towards him anyways, your hand coming up to caress his cheek. The coldness of your hand is refreshing and it makes him close his eyes for a second, almost entranced. "I love you" it tumbles out of his mouth and his arms find home on your waist. Maybe it's the fact that he's still very much asleep from waking up relatively early on vacation, and maybe that's why he's not too bothered by making such an important statement first thing in the morning and out of nowhere. but he doesn't care. He loves you. He brings you closer to him and it makes him giggle the way your mouth opens and closes without a word being said. you're caught off guard. but still say it back. and he already knows.
