Underrated hero
I have previously expressed my belief that Harry is severely underrated in USM, and it saddens me. Despite his wonderful personality and loyalty as a friend and son, he is consistently overlooked by others. Even the creators of the show seem to have neglected him. To shine a spotlight on this endearing character, I would like to share my thoughts on why Harry deserves more recognition:
He is a charming individual. Despite his wealth and the opulence that surrounds him, he remains humble and down-to-earth. Money is not his top priority in life, which sets him apart from many others in his position.
One of Harry's most admirable qualities is his loyalty as a friend. He stands by Peter, even when Peter's duties as Spidey cause him to neglect their friendship. Harry always welcomes Peter back with open arms, showing a level of care and understanding that is truly commendable.
Harry's compassion extends beyond his friendship with Peter. He is caring towards those he holds dear, including his father. Even when Norman is going through tough times or behaving in a less-than-admirable manner, Harry remains a steadfast source of support and love. His unwavering loyalty to his father is truly heartwarming.
In addition to his emotional intelligence, Harry is also incredibly intelligent and quick to learn. As Patrioteer, he proves himself to be a skilled fighter and a capable hero. He demonstrates that true heroism is not dependent on a spider bite, but rather on one's determination and willingness to do good.
In the words of Norman, "You're a good son, Harry." And indeed, Harry lives up to that praise with his kindness, loyalty, and intelligence. He is a shining example of what it means to be a true friend and a hero.
Overall, he is incredibly charming, kind, and cute. Despite his potential, he was not allowed to truly showcase his talents, which is truly unjust. Regrettably, his screen time diminished towards the conclusion of the series. He deserved a much more fulfilling and rewarding role.
