Law watched the other captain, golden eyes not moving away from the other's face. The thought processes that went through that rubber head of his would always fascinate him. This is rather easy, the most fun I have is with characters who are broken. The more angst that there is in their backstory the more fun I have, mostly cos I want to see how they deal with their trauma, will it make them a better person, like Ace, or a worse person, like Doflamingo. It is such fun to see how a muse/character heals or doesn't.

Women. I don't know if it's because I am not very feminine, or if it is because of the trauma of specific occurrences in the GO.T/AS.OIAF fandom back in 2014-2019. Until that point I was more dipping my toes into writing women and finding comfort... then the whole Matt thing occurred... there is an entire detailed doc about it that was shared in a post linked here for those who are interested

Basically it is a toss up between "will this break him more?" and "he needs this adorableness/goodness" sometimes it is a mix of both, or if something interesting gets my attention *staring at the threads I am working on with the vinsmo.ke brothers getting drugged to feel specific emotions*

already answered this but basically broken/traumatized characters, honestly am surprised that I don't have the whole set of any boy from this series on my blog

Smoker stared at the pirate before him in utter disbelief. Anytime the man spoke it was always something off the handle. Being told that he wants the marine to let him go was one of those many things that made one wonder if the kid was right in the head, as most would not expect a marine to just let them go. Katakuri has chronic insomnia, so will often be wandering at night. He likes how peaceful this can be, and it's one of the few times he will dare sit out in the open with his scarf down. Once of his favorite things is when it is raining at night to stand and let the rain hit his bare face.

Buggy:
Buggy takes really good care of his hair. He does not like the feeling of tangles or dry hair, so he makes sure that his hair is well brushed and moisturized. He will never admit to this to anyone, and part of the reason his hair is so long is so he can cut the dead ends himself. He hasn't trusted anyone to cut it since the Roger Pirates disbanded, and it is the ultimate sign of trust if he gives you permission to touch his hair.
Rayleigh:
Rayleigh's hair is longer now than his youth because of how often he bothers cutting it. When he was younger he would have Roger or Crocus on his case about keeping it short and neat. This was mostly because they saw longer hair as a possible grabbing point in a fight. That was also why his hair use to be combed back and out of the way. He let it run wild after Roger's death.

Anyone who was transient and not looking for a permanent home on Toto Land needed to be vetted before they were allowed any sense of freedom in Mama's territory. He leaned back against the wall behind him as he assessed if she would be a threat. "More a formality to be assessed and given permission by a Sweet Commander before you are allowed to wander. You say that you perform. What brings a musician to Toto Land?"

She is pulled into his arms in an instant, his mouth claiming hers in desperate need. Many would say that Ichiji is without emotion, that he is not capable of passion. Anyone who saw him in this moment would know this not to be the truth of the prince. Not with how he held Nami close and kissed her like she was water and he was the most parched man on the planet.
His teeth nipped and pulled on her lip, before his tongue slipped into her mouth. One hand was on the back of her neck, holding her into the kiss, the other was around her waist lifting her against him just high enough that he did not have to lean over too far to kiss her. After a moment he pulls back so that their lips are just brushing and growls out, "I couldn't resist the temptation. You are too beautiful."

He was being selfish. He knew that he was. They were on different crews, and more than that he was a marine first and foremost, even if the world thought differently. Drake knew that at the end of the day they would have to part ways when Strawhat left Wano, but while he had the chance he was going to take it. He wanted her to remember their time together fondly.
He took hold of her hand and pulled her into his lap, and when she looked up to speak he uses the opportunity to kiss her. His lips roughly meeting hers, cutting off whatever words she was going to say, his hands reaching to cup her face. Whatever tomorrow had in store for them, tonight they had one another.

He isn't really thinking as they celebrate. Luffy rarely does, just goes with the flow and the feeling of revelry. So he doesn't really think about how everyone will react when he pulls Nami into his arms. They had been dancing together all night, enjoying the party, laughing and living life to it's fullest.
The captain's lips find hers, eager and hot, his tongue slipping past her lips when she gives a gasp of surprise. A happy purr leaves his throat as he holds her close to him, the rest of the world nothing more than dull noise around them.

God, he had missed her. Even as she scolded him, yelling at him for how he had left their son in the care of his father. How many years had it been, since he had last heard her voice? Since he had last seen her face, or her smile? The smile that had broken his heart when he had seen it on the face of their son, before he had left that last time.
Dragon closed the distance, ignoring her words as he pulled her into a deep kiss. One hand rested on the back of her neck, and the other arm lifted her to his height. He took in a deep breath as he slipped his tongue into her mouth.

Damn it all. God fucking damn it all. Sanji gritted his teeth as he looked Zoro in the eyes. They had been arguing all afternoon, and while two years ago that would have ended up in a fight and feelings of resentment... The blonde had found out a lot about himself in the last two years, and one of those was pinpointing what it was that bothered him about the swordsman so much.
And at the moment the bastard was too damn close. The cook swallowed his pride, eyes watching Zoro's lips as the words he was saying fell on deaf ears. "Oh, fuck it," he growled. His lips crashed into the other man's and his hands gripped the front of his kimono. He was likely not going to live this down, but damn it all if he didn't make this worth it. An eager whimper left him as he flicked his tongue against Zoro's lips, not daring to break the kiss.

"Many would beg to differ with you on that, Claudia. Especially those of us who are in Cypher Pol." Lucci states, his voice void of emotion. How many of them had referred to him as a monster, or a weapon? He had belonged to the World Government since his parents had sold him when he was six years old, so it was not like the man had a chance to be anything but someone's worst nightmare. How the young woman before him saw him as anything but would always boggle his mind.

Sabo gripped his hands in fists at Luffy's words. It certainly did not feel like it wasn't his fault. If he had just hidden, had set sail after the Celestial Dragon had come into port... He should have known better, instead he had almost died, and his family had thought him dead for all those years. Luffy had suffered, and he had asked Robin not to tell his brother about him when she returned. "I should have been there for you. You say it wasn't my fault, but I am your older brother, I should have been there for you." Especially after we lost Ace.

Buggy gritted his teeth at the little bastard's words. The kid knew just the right buttons to push to upset the man, and apparently asking if he ever shut up was one of them. "Don't say that like you are ever quiet!" No one who was a kid that Shanks entrusted their captain's hat to was likely to be quiet. No, this kid had to be like the red haired bastard in some way.
