Though, I have to say, I'm enjoying a lot how Shiina is putting things together in the manga so that the plot (FINALLY!) makes sense (gosh, the anime was such a mess) and even the whole Towa-Setsuna-Moroha-dynamic turns out to be funny and believable too, which obviously means that removing their trio from my hc is not at all a choice made without some regret, the point is... When it comes to Sesshomaru and Rin I can't feel that creative flair supposed to get me to scream "CANON". Understandable enough, okay, inukag was already a fully developed couple, they didn't need that much (and yet Shiina did surprise us with a very, very good work), quite the opposite with sessrin. There was no need for them to be a couple in the first place (not to mention the problematic part of this "ship") but still even taking it I can't get over the fact that most of the fanfics and doujinshi I've read in the last months (after my late discovery of Inuyasha as anime and fandom - and manga of course being my next target) are MUCH MORE spot on.
