TFTSD Campaign 3: Kanon Portraits
I'll update them if any details are wrong as we learn more about each character but here's my interpretation based off the reveals!
Took a guess on some of the eye colours as the reveal image was a bit small for me to see :')

oh that’s really interesting, I knew there was some reason I really liked the infinights designs, and you put why into words really nicely
one complaint i have about the newer campaigns of tftsd is that there is always one character who looks way to modern and out of place lol
Some thoughts/predictions for campaign 3
Also, somewhat obviously, spoilers under the cut
They’re setting this villain up kinda like the princesses are set up in the first episode of She-ra (2018 version). Everyone is training to fight them in these simulations where they’re super scary, but when they actually meet they’re not actually hostile.
I think The Infinights and the Grotethe Gang all had really good character dynamics, and I don’t know how the new characters are going to compare. There’s potential for good character interactions because the players are all really funny, and good friends, but some of the best interactions of past campaigns were between like Bart and Gum Gum, Kyborg and Mudd, Mathilde, and Barney, Chip and Ellga, and I can’t think of what’s going to compare in this new campaign.
I think Tolv mentioned something about looking for his family (either in the episode or in the second wind sneak peak, also why are blaine’s characters family’s always dead or missing?) so that seems like that’ll be his character arc. Maybe his family is being held like an Inku and Bart’s parents situation.
In the past Jon’s characters have been lacking in backstory, and as much as I would like that to change, I don’t see how Nattie is gonna have as fleshed out a backstory as Kyborg or Barney. I guess I could see her having like a mysterious, murdery, past, kinda like Chip, but I’m really not sure.
I don’t know how Gunther is gonna have a character arc, but I said that about Gum Gum and Barney and I love both their plots, so I trust Chris to have a good backstory, I just don’t know what that is gonna be.
And Dug. I actually like Dug way more than I expected, and as I feel with most of my favorite characters I want him to experience immense trauma, if he hasn’t already. That’s a bit dramatic, but I do hope Dug gets some sort of heart wrenching moment later down the line.
The Drill Sargeant seems like he’s gonna be the Dr. Ahem/Alchemist of this campaign. Not in personality, but he fills the roll of exposition character. Also he’s like sarge from red vs blue.
I’m realizing while typing all these thoughts I still have like 20 minutes left in the episode, so we’ll just hope I didn’t majorly contradict anything that happens at the end.
also I still haven’t finished grotethe but I already miss those characters

The year is 87XX. The world's population inflated beyond what many expected. However, humans are slowly fading away, like a fad to meet it's an unfortunate end. And as all unfortunate ends, as you should know, humanity was as stubborn as it's foretold end. The average human lifespan has since tripled through the use of technology and engineered food.
Time seemed shorter, years considered months or even days. However, many humans preferred not to opt for such a long lifespan and desiring their due end. And so, such techniques were left generally unused. Though, it's fair to mention far from many scientists encouraged these choices, believing humans should live on to the infinite. Well, at least their voices.
Technology had progressed beyond many beliefs, great minds replicated and improved. History though was difficult to fake since there are sides everywhere, and therefore could not be replicated. Here lies the Re: You project. Their goal? Create androids to replace humans once their lights flicker out.
While many made individuals, some blank slates, some based off if historical figures, some legends, some from works of great renown, but most of just people. To be able to create many most androids were adopted from performance androids who could support the technology that retained the 'minds' without using up unavailable resources these brilliant minds had no access to. To avoid disasters, of mistaken identities, many were altered to look more like people and different. And so, they were placed in a facility intended to help live in satisfaction and harmony, resting until they are ready. Here you lie, ready to learn. That is, ready to learn had the scientists still have been there.
This is your story. Read:You
As characters, many of you haven't met, being in development for some time. The only interactions were tests, and hardly revealed much about the other. You all have been waiting for some time.
No one came to finish and wake you up. Some workers lived, still cleaning, clueless to the whereabouts of the scientists. So you learn the meaning of the world and the need to continue without the scientists who started you off.
