So I uninstalled gshade, because it never worked for me anyway, and now it says I have to reinstall my whole game?! So obviously I did something wrong.
It’s going to take hours. I’m having a lot of anxiety right now because this game is my only happy place right now. I’ve backed up my saves folder and my mods folder so hopefully everything will be hunky dory but until I’m in game I’m going to be biting my nails.
Okay.. it took 2 and a half hours but everything seems to be fine.
Now should I try reshade or not risk it again?

Literally just got back into game a few days ago and now I don’t feel like playing because everyone else’s games are so pretty!! Seriously contemplating just deleting everything and starting again.

I am named after my dads high school crush… good job dad.
2: when was the last time you cried?
Last week I watched Encanto for the first time and when they gave Mirabel the doorknob at the end I cried like a baby.

No. I have nieces and nephews who I adore and then can hand back at the end of the day.
4: do you use sarcasm a lot?
No, I don’t think so. I don’t understand it often either. I take things at face value.
5: what sports do you play/ have played?
As a kid I played netball and dancing. In my twenties I played basketball. Now I just swim and walk.
6: what's the first thing you notice about other people?
Their energy maybe? I don’t know, I’ll have to wait and see next time I leave the house. As a person with social anxiety, I always judge if a person is intimidating or not.

I’m always given peoples clothes or soft toys to mend so I guess I’m talented at that.

I have a sweet but psycho little cavoodle named Frankie.

5”3 but I should have been 5”10 technically. #scoliosisproblems

Anything art based. When I went to TAFE for librarian training my favourite subject was cataloging and storytime.
15: dream job?
Librarian! I worked as a school librarian pre-COVID and I’d love to get back to it soon.

I don't get sent these asks because I'm a little nobody, but I liked this one and I wanted to answer it anyway!
I would love to play for a day in @strawberry-nia's game. I love how colourful her game is, and how adorable all her sims are. I love her postcards legacy, it makes me so happy.
But I think if my own style was going to be remade into someone's I would want my sims to look like @sojutrait's. They are the perfect mix of cartoony maxis match and realistic. Their characters are amazing and fully fleshed out and the family gameplay is fantastic.
I've tried changing my style to look more like others before, but I always end up back in my comfort zone. I think my sims are more realistic, I don't give them exaggerated cartoon features but I do try to stick to maxis match. But I'm addicted to skin details and sometimes they make them look a bit too real. Oh well.
Tonight I actually played the game for the first time in ages, instead of just CAS or build mode, and it was fun!
I really want to do the GlobeTrotter challenge and I think I will do it now, instead of waiting until every world is perfectly set up and every sim made over. Embrace the chaos!
