Bf!Minjae who likes to think that he’s subtle, humble even, about bagging such a pretty girl with the kindest heart, but the relentless teasing from his members about being decorated in your initials at all times is starting to point out the big, bright red sign that maybe he isn’t as slick as he thought he was about the flexing.
Ex: The boy can’t be convinced to take off his custom made jewelry even if he was bribed, his stubbornness really makes itself distinct when their manager tries getting him to “take it off just for the pictures”, at this point, not even his members try anymore. Bf!Minjae who likes showing you off, loves it even, lives for it, but the ‘sharing’ aspect is one thing he doesn’t take too kindly to. He loves his members, truly, but when Yechan starts getting a little too comfortable, starts acting a little too cute around you, that’s when the PDA suddenly becomes unbearably noticeable.
Ex: Subtly guiding you into his lap when you’re lounging on the couch just so he can purposely rest his hands near your boobs, yet never getting so close as to cup them wholly. Standing behind you and blocking out the uninteresting conversation before the two of you when he can only focus on the run of his hand slipping over your hips/stomach, loves resting his head on your shoulder, thinks there’s something domestic about it, but when he’s feeling selfish he only does it to make sure whatever member is causing him issues will see the way his hands roam your body freely. Maybe being jealous isn’t totally awful if it means he gets to feel you up in front of his members without any consequences.
Bf!Minjae who is so quick to letting go of his most favourite clothing pieces/accessories when you show even the slightest bit of interest, it doesn’t even have to be because you like the design, maybe it’s just cause it’s his, or it has the scent of his cologne imbedded in the fabric, maybe he wore it on a memorable occasion, anything. Whatever it is, it’s yours. He’d be so sweet about it too, I know it. Constant reassurance that since he’s yours he’d never feel any type of way about you stealing his stuff.
Ex: “Here baby.” He says slipping the hoodie off that he noticed you’ve been eyeing since he pulled it down from the clothing rack beside his bed earlier in the morning, he’d beckon you forward with a motion of his hand, bunching it up so it could slide easily over your head. “Before Jinsik tries to be a gentleman and embarrass me for not taking care of you.”
Bf!Minjae who is intent on making sure you’ve eaten, gotten a drink from that one place you like recently, or even a little snack that he sends you money when you show even the tiniest sign of wanting something. He’s so doesn’t say anything and instead waits until you realize he’s already sent the money to your account, a note attached to the transfer that it’s for a treat or to keep it if there’s anything else you’d want, because even the smallest gestures have sentimental significance to them when it comes to him :,)
Bf!Minjae who always manages to slip in a gf cam during their YouTube videos, the editors find it endearing, at times he’ll film you in secret as you talk to the boys, his own commentary being made behind the camera about how good you look, how sweet you are to the boys/staff, or he’ll even have you stand before him while he asks you questions about the day so far. He never fails to get a Y/n cameo. Never.

Right here?” His tongue pokes out to run across his lip, dimming the brightness so he can see you in full, “Perfect sweetheart, you make the background look so pretty.” He says, wide smile failing to be hid by the camera even if he tried. Your head tilts to the side, brows furrowed, “Don’t you mean it makes me look pretty?” You glance back at the field of wild flowers and long gross, beginning to wonder if the fatigue from today’s choreo was finally starting to catch up to him. “You couldn’t be prettier love, anything in your presence automatically becomes a hundred times more appealing!” His cheesiness pulls out a laugh as silently he admires you through the lens, “now pose, be overly dramatic, feel it in your heart.” In conclusion, Xiker’s editors create fancams of you.
Bf!Minjae who doesn’t have a particular love language, I mean, it’s hard to. Because it’s you.
Ex: Quality time? He’s attached to your hip as soon as his schedules cleared. He can’t really say whether he prefers days out with you, cafe hopping together that consists of lots of giggles and encouraging unfiltered comments to be shared, it takes a minute for him to give in, but eventually the two of you are thoroughly judging the menu together one dish at a time like well versed, arrogant connoisseurs who have only the finest taste in food. The time spent at the dorms is just as enjoyable if not more, because that’s where he gets to really let loose, normally you’d be caught cuddled up together on the couch, or in his bed, comfy clothes and good food was all he needed, it didn’t take much to satisfy him, but the makeout sessions were certainly hard to pass up on. His hands disappeared under your shirt, running soothingly at the skin of your back as he pulls you impossibly closer, the only sound you can hear is his wavering breaths, pulling heavy from his mouth as you suck at his tongue, luring it out from between his lips, tongue of your own licking only slightly to keep him enticed, not that he’d stop now, no, he wouldn’t dare.
Gift giving? He’s notoriously awful at pacing himself when it comes to shopping, in fact, it’s hard for him to go anywhere without coming back with a surprise for you. They’re filming inside of a shopping centre? He doesn’t care, already at the front desk waiting to pay for the cute shirt he saw through the window that he needs you to have.
Physical touch? Always. Even when he’s not being clingy, he’s clingy. His arm is always found looped through yours, around your waist, around your neck. When he’s busy conversing with the boys? No he’s not, autopilot, he’s focused on toying with your fingers, playing with your hair, petting your head… for some reason? He likes the confused look on your face, your eyes look cute. When you’re seated anywhere close to eachother? Footsies. He’s always kicking into the toe of your shoes, hand rubbing your thigh if you’re beside eachother, pulling it over his own just so he has more to feel.
Words of affirmation? They’re all yours, that and more. Being a leader it’s like second nature to him, so he doesn’t have to make a conscious effort to verbally express his admiration for you, in fact it comes to him a little too easily. Your first time having sex for example, there’s bound to be some awkwardness in the air, it’s a given, it’s normal, but Minjae was a complete wildcard when it came to your times of intimacy. He was completely and utterly open with you, and although hesitant, he still impressed you with how vocal he was being, to say that hearing “Feels so good” and “please don’t stop” and “never felt like this before” during your first time together was a confidence boost, would be a grave understatement. Because, who’s really doing it like him??? He’s never shy about his compliments, never, never, never.
Acts of service? Until the day he dies. He loves being able to care for you, a privilege he calls it. If it’s chilly out, already a hoodie of his in hand that he made sure matched the vibe of your outfit, shoes come untied while you’re walking together? He’s already crouched down, matter of fact, laces are already pinched between his fingers. Never lets you carry your own shopping bags, will quite literally argue with you if you even try, he doesn’t play. Getting your hair done? He’s set up at your side, drink, food and all, has established a regular habit of opening your drinks, unwrapping your straws, feeding you. etc.

“Y/n do you think the one I played before or just now is better?” Minjae asked you. However he is only met with silence. He turns his head away from the computer in front of him to find you snoozing away. Leaning on the table with your head lying on your arms. Minjae lets out a little chuckle. He brings one of his hands to your face and brushes away the stray strands of hair. He stares at you adoringly. His heart beating with love. That’s when the idea pops into his head. He turns his attention back to the computer and begins to work on a new song.
After some time Minjae is shaking you awake, with a hand on your shoulder.
“Y/n you can just go home when you’re tired,” he tells you.
“I’m not tired,” you mumbled out with your head still resting on your arms.
“You could at least say that with your eyes open.” Minjae poked your cheek. Your eyes crack open and you sit up from your hunched over position, stretching your arms above your head.
“So maybe I was a little tired,” you say. Minjae laughs.
“Come on, I'm done for the night. Let’s get you home.”

“I have a song I want you to listen to,” Minjae tells you, guiding you over to the chair and handing you a pair of headphones.
“Did you already finish the songs you were working on for the album?” you asked.
“Just listen to it,” he told you, making you slightly confused. Nonetheless you still put the headphones on and pressed play.
“What do you think?” he questioned once you took the headphones off.
“I like it. It’s very schoolboy crush, cute” you say with a smile.
“Look at what it’s called.” He motions his head towards the monitor. You leaned closer to look at the name on the file. “Y/n” it read.
“Me? Why would you name a song after…Minjae.” The pieces clicked. The song about having a crush and all the things their crush makes them feel was named after you.
“I like you,” he confesses.
“I make you feel like a schoolboy in love?” you say. Minjae chuckles while nodding.
“You heard it didn’t you?” he said. You stood up from the chair and took Minjae’s hands in yours.
“I like you too,” you confessed back.
“Really?” His eyes widened slightly making you laugh. He was so adorable.
“Yes. Why else would I sleep in your studio when I have a perfectly good bed back home,” you say. Minjae smiles, moving his hands in your hold to lace your fingers together.
“Where should I take you out on our date then?” he asked.
“I like your studio,” you state, looking around the small room.
“Huh?”
“I just like spending time with you. It doesn’t matter where,” you elaborated.
“I like spending time with you too,” he says. Safe to say the two of you had a lot of studio dates in the future.
